Vinted Members Express Frustration Over Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its size classifications for women's and children's clothes but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a different size category compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
The company said the revised method more closely matches other platforms.
They have suggested members to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Measurement Approach Updates
Previously, the measurements included one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Accounts
Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they may become frustrated," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, based in Derby, said she had been left angered because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: earlier, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices after backlash from users.
