The Streaming Giant Chooses Ideal Actor for Bon Clay in One Piece Upcoming Installment
The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, although the real showdown won’t unfold until the next season, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.
Netflix announced recently that Cole Escola will appear in the One Piece season 3 cast and will play Bon Clay. This character possesses the power to morph into an perfect replica of anyone they’ve made contact with with their right hand. The actor, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will portray a version of that role reinterpreted as gender non-binary, instead of as a drag queen, in the live-action show, differing from the initial comic and animated series.
Escola is joined by several other recently announced actors who will portray the organization to life, featuring head Mr. 0, portrayed by the well-known actor, an emerging star as Miss Goldenweek, and a familiar face, who will appear as the lineup as the monarch of Alabasta.
Though the role is a important part of the organization, the character won’t appear until One Piece the third season. Considering the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this marks a significant shift in the schedule of their first appearance, one that could suggest additional alterations to the plot development.
