Government Seeks Help from High Court Following Failed Bid to Block Food Stamp Payment Order
This past Friday, shortly following a national appellate court decided that the administration must pay for nutritional assistance benefits, the White House sought intervention from the US top court in a new attempt to halt the order.
Within hours, the highest court released an temporary injunction temporarily blocking full Snap food aid funds, which approximately 42 million Americans rely on to put food on the table.
